Private Driving Lessons 2026 Policy:

Students:

Student tuition: Single Private Lessons can be paid for in advance or at the time of the lesson.

Packages can be paid for in advance or In-Full at the time of the first lesson. 

For missed Private lessons, make-up drives can be scheduled for $150 per hour.

We use a 48hr cancellation policy. If you reschedule the drive time with at least 48hrs in advance, there will be no additional fee charged. If you cancel the drive with less than 24hr notification, or No Call No show for the drive, you will either forfeit that drive or be charged $150 to reschedule that drive.

Students MUST bring their permits for all Behind the Wheel Instructions.

This program does NOT include a DMV Behind the Wheel test. You will still need to schedule a drive test with the DMV or a 3rd Party tester.

CODE: 

Employees, students, and guests of Central Oregon Driver Education are prohibited from the use, sale, dispensing, distribution, possession, or being under the influence of drugs that are illegal under any federal state or local law, including marijuana or prescription drugs without a valid prescription. 

Student Impairment:

If a student is suspected or found to be under the influence during any part of this course the instructor will contact the parent/ guardian and have the student picked up immediately. Students are not to return, and all tuition is forfeited.

Employee impairment:

Apon any complaint about and instructor/ employee being impaired, the instructor/ employee will be suspended pending investigation. If instructor/ employee is found to be impaired employment will be terminated.

Instructors:

Instructors will be in good standing with certifications and continuing education.

Instructors will follow Code of Ethics and Rules of Conduct as written in accordance with

Oregon state OAR Division 150 # 737-015-0085 & 160 # 735-160-0125
