Our Winter ODOT Approved Teen course starts on January 20th, 2025 and
ends March 1st, 2025.
Class Schedule
Monday and Tuesday - 5:00 - 7:30pm
Week 1 - January 20th, 21st
(Parents are required to be present for the first hour of the first class.)
Week 2 - January 27th, 28th
Week 3 - February 3rd, 4th
Week 4 - February 10th, 11th
Week 5 - February 17th, 18th
Week 6 - February 24th, 25th (Written test)
Behind the Wheel Instruction - Will match the same weeks as classes
Days and Times - TBD
Actual drive times will be determined as students register, and finalized at the Parents Meeting. (1st Class time)
Students MUST bring their permits for Behind the Wheel Instruction.
Behind the Wheel Test will be give on the students last scheduled day to drive.

ends May 10th, 2025.

Payment - Full payment is required for registration. (Checks will be deposited 1 week prior to the Parents Meeting)
Being on time and present for the entire length of class is critical for passing the drivers course. Students must bring their Playbook.
Make up Class time - $100 per hour
Make up Drive time - $150 per hour
Students MUST bring their permits for all Behind the Wheel Instructions and the test.
The student must have fulfilled all classroom time (30hrs) prior to taking the written test.
The student must have passed the written test and fulfilled all drive time
(6 BTW/6 Observation/5 Parent Guided Practice) and have submitted the Practice Drive Log to be eligible to take the drive test.

Private Tutoring
Tutoring Cost - $100 per hour for Classroom Instruction
- $150 per hour for Behind the Wheel Instruction
Private Instruction will not provide a driving test. The student will still need an ODOT Approved Behind the Wheel Test from the DMV or 3rd Party tester.
Student:
Student tuition: $850. Paid before student is enrolled. Refunds available up to one week before class begins.
Students MUST bring their permits for all Behind the Wheel Instructions and the test.
The student must have fulfilled all classroom time (30hrs) prior to taking the written test.
The student must have passed the written test and fulfilled all drive time
(6 BTW/6 Observation/5 Parent Guided Practice) and have submitted the Practice Drive Log to be eligible to take the drive test.
For missed class time, make-up classes can be scheduled for $100 per hour
For missed Behind-the-wheel time, make-up drives can be scheduled for $150 per hour
All make-up classes will be finished no later than 35 days after the last class signed up for.
If a student fails the course they can repeat the course for the full tuition cost.
CODE: Courses will be a minimum of 35 days and a maximum of 55 days.
Employees, students, and guests of Central Oregon Driver Education are prohibited from the use, sale, dispensing, distribution, possession, or being under the influence of drugs that are illegal under any federal state or local law, including marijuana or prescription drugs without a valid prescription.
Student Impairment:
If a student is suspected or found to be under the influence during any part of this course the instructor will contact the parent/ guardian and have the student picked up immediately. Students are not to return, and all tuition is forfeited.
Employee impairment:
Upon any complaint about and instructor/ employee being impaired, the instructor/ employee will be suspended pending investigation. If instructor/ employee is found to be impaired employment will be terminated.
Instructors:
Instructors will be in good standing with certifications and continuing education.
Instructors will follow Code of Ethics and Rules of Conduct as written in accordance with
Oregon state OAR Division 150 # 737-015-0085 & 160 # 735-160-0125

We follow the ODOT-Approved Drivers Education Course for Teens. The course is a combination of classroom lecture and Behind the Wheel instruction. The classroom setting will be an inclusive and interactive form of teaching, and the Behind the Wheel instruction is a semi-private format. We will predominantly be teaching from the Playbook R
